AN OPEN USSF AFFILIATED TOURNAMENT 
SANCTIONED THROUGH THE SOCCER ASSOCIATION FOR YOUTH (SAY)
ALL  CMSA TOURNAMENTS  WILL BE PLAYED FOLLOWING THE STATE OF MARYLAND  COVID-19 "STAY AT HOME GUIDELINES."     DUE TO THE CURRENT STATE OF MARYLAND GUIDELINES AT THAT TIME,  THE FATHER'S DAY  TOURNAMENT HAD TO BE CANCELLED.  WE HAVE REPLACED THAT EVENT    WITH THE CMSA SUMMER CLASSIC POSTED BELOW.

Competition:

OPEN USSF TOURNAMENT FOR USSF TRAVEL & CLUB L TEAMS (See affiliation information for this event posted in the next column)

Event Features Separate Boys and Girls Competitions

Separate A, B & C level competition for the single age levels of U8 thru U15 and for the dual ages of U16 and U18 where registration permits.  

7v7 Competition for 2012, 2011 & 2010
9v9 Competition for 2010, 2009 & 2008
11v11 Competition for 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, & 2003/2002
 
PARTICIPATION IN THIS EVENT SHOULD PROVIDE YOU WITH THE COMPETITION LEVEL WHERE YOUR TEAM SHOULD BE PLACED FOR THE FALL 2020 SEASON 
 
Maximum Roster Size:
2012, 2011, 2010 -16 Players (7v7)
2010*, 2009, 2008 - 18 Players (9v9)
2008*, 2007, 2006 - 20 Players (11v11)
2005 thru 2002 - 22 Players (11v11) 
Teams that are marked with the asteisk* have the option to play up in competition.
  
Three Game Minimum in either a round-robin bracket or play-off format.  Bracket sizes of 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, & 12 will be formed where registration permits.  Play-off and Championship games are assigned where necessary.
 
ALL TOURNAMENT GAMES WILL CONSIST OF 50 MINUTES (TWO 25 MINUTE HALVES)
 
TEAM  & INDIVIDUAL. TROPHIES  will be presented to the 1st and 2nd Place teams in all age level competition brackets.

 Registration Dates

Registration is through the Got Soccer Alley web site link, between June 14th through July 8th.

PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY CREDIT CARD NO LATER THEN JULY 8th THROUGH THE CMSA STONE ALLEY WEBSITE.

TEAMS NOT REGISTERED & PAYED IN FULL BY JULY 8th WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE EVENT AND NOT SCHEDULED.

Tournament Competition Dates (Two Day Event)

  • Saturday - July 18th 2020
  • Sunday  -    July 19th 2020
There will be no refunds issed for teams that drop
out after the registration deadline date.

Registration Fees

2012, 2011, 2010 (7v7) @ $625.00

2010, 2009, 2008 (9v9) @ $650.00

2008, 2007, 2006 (11v11) @ $675.00

2005 thru 2002 (11v11) @$700.00

REFEREE FEES ARE INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION 
           COMPLETE REFUND INFORMATION IS POSTED IN THE                  FORMS SECTION.

 Registration Procedure

 Registration Steps for all teams;

Step #1. To reserve your spot; register your team through the GotSoccer web site.

  • Once you have registered your team through Got Soccer, CMSA will receive a confirmation which will reserve your teams' entry into the event.
  • Once your payment has been received and processed; your team will be designated as paid/acceped on the GotSoccer site

Step #2. All teams are requried to register on the Stone Alley website.

Step #3. After registering, you can click here to finish the process by making your payment using the code you received in Step #2 by Wed. July 8th. 

Step #4. A copy of your Tournament  Roster must be turned in before the event. (Either at the event prior to your first game, or email to  cmsatournamentrosters.com no later than July 10th.

YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT FINALIZED UNTIL PAYMENT IN FULL HAS BEEN RECEIVED.  ONCE RECIEVED YOUR TEAM WILL BE SCHEDULED. 

TEAMS NOT PAID BY JULY 8th WILL BE DROPPED

 

Teams challenged during the event and found not to have a roster on file will be disqualified from play.

ALL FINAL COMPETITION PLACEMENT IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE.  DEPENDING ON THE FINAL REGISTRATION NUMBERS; ADDITIONAL  LEVELS OF  A/B, & B/C MAY BE ADDED.

Team Affiliation & Rosters

This is an open CMSA Event for SAY & US Club affiliated teams. Teams are requried to have either a completed set of SAY or US Club Rosters & Cards for all players that are on the roster.
For those teams which do not have completed rosters and cards for their teams; we have arrange for those teams to be able to purchase through the tournament a CMSA/SAY Academy Roster (at a cost of $5.00 per each player listed on the roster) to receive coverage for this event.
  
If your team is affiliated through any other USYSA affiliate, you will need a "Permission to Travel" form from your state association with your application.
 

If you are registered through MSYSA or any other USYSA organization and are denied a travel form, you have the option to purchase CMSA/SAY Academy insurance at the time of registration for participation.  You will be requried to have proof of ID. Contact scorenews@aol.com for information

Due to the Corona Virus situation, if teams need to change or  bring in additional players not on their original certified rosters; then you will have the option to go convert your roster over to a CMSA/SAY Academy roster at a cost of $5.00 for each  player listed on the tournament roster.

FOR THIS EVENT YOU WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO HAVE YOUR ROSTER STAMPED BY A CMSA REGISTRAR.
